Yin for Deep Rest - A Quiet Practice

Sundays 7:15–8:30pm Monthly Swansea Wellbeing Centre

12 British pounds
The Swansea Wellbeing Centre

Description

An unhurried Sunday evening practice designed to help the body and mind settle, supporting a grounded and relaxed start to the week. This class blends yin and restorative yoga, with long-held, supported postures that invite the body and mind into a state of deep rest. You’ll be guided into each position and then given time and space to stay, allowing the nervous system to settle and the effects of the practice to unfold naturally. Holding poses for longer periods gives the body a chance to release deeply held tension and shift out of constant doing. The quieter format creates space for mindful awareness and compassionate listening to yourself. Many people leave feeling restored, centred, and more at home in their bodies, with a sense of spaciousness and grounding that carries into the days that follow. This session is also available to join live online.
